day 3

today is my third day of real food. so far, so good! this morning i had a yummy smoothie.  it is also the first smoothie i've ever tried that ACTUALLY keeps me full until lunch. here's the recipe in case you're interested. http://thischickcooks.net/2011/08/08/peanut-butter-banana-smoothie-recipe-good-enough-for-an-ice-cream-store/

for lunch, i had some delish egg salad. i used natural mayo, a tiny bit of natural mustard, some bacon, and a little salt.

this afternoon i finished putting together some trail mix. i must say, i did a pretty good job! it's got pecans, walnuts, dried cranberries, banana chips, oats, and honey. i really like it!

now, it's time for some zumba, followed by some dinner of left-over egg salad!
